Orders are shipped between 3 to 7 days. They are shipped on business days, Monday – Friday, 10 am – 5 pm, except during Singapore public holidays. If we are unable to meet the estimated delivery date we shall not be liable for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising out of late delivery. If you are unavailable to take delivery, we will leave a slip with instructions on re-delivery or collection from the carrier.
We use SingPost to deliver our orders in Singapore. For order above $50, we will use our own delivery/other courier company to deliver our orders.
If a tracking number is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using SingPost will not have tracking numbers.
The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight or volumetric weight of your products, and your location. Before the final checkout page, you will be shown the cost of shipping, and you will have a chance to not place your order if you decide not to.
If an item goes on back order, we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.
Customs, Duties, and Taxes
You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from www.theearthelement.com, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the Singapore may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
